Planned Giving
You believe in the work of Lamplighter and want to help ensure that we will continue to light the lamps of future generations of young students. You want your gift to make a difference for us but are concerned about your own financial needs and those of your family. A planned gift might be an attractive way for you to provide for both your personal priorities and your philanthropic interests.
A planned gift is any gift for any amount, given for any purpose - operations, capital expansion, or endowment, which requires the assistance of professional staff or a donor’s advisors to complete. In addition, it includes any gift which is carefully considered by a donor in light of estate or financial plans.
There are a number of planned giving instruments that may be considered by a donor. Lamplighter is happy to visit with you to evaluate your goals and options. As these gifts most often include detailed planning and documentation and have financial consequences, the school requires that donors seek financial and/or legal advice when considering a planned gift.
