The Grandparent Program allows grandparents the opportunity to be active at their grandchild's school in ways that support the academic program and the meaningful experiences on campus. Grandparents have the opportunity to read to their grandchild's class or volunteer in the media center. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Sue Shibley.

What parents need to know about Lamplighter's Grandest Friends' Day
We hope all children will have a grand friend visit them during this heart-warming event. Please note the following about this day: What Parents Need to Know (coming soon).
Every child must return a special carpool change form (coming soon) to the teacher, even if you are planning to pick up your child, in person. Please do not use School Pass for carpool changes on Grandest Friends’ Day.

Want to honor your Grandchild?
“While reading to the children I felt like I had not one grandchild but fifteen! They even call me Grandma! It is a grandparent’s dream to be so involved and appreciated.”
“Next year I’ll have four grandchildren at Lamplighter. I expect to volunteer four different times and read to each classroom. I think I need a room of my own at Lamplighter!”
