Board of Trustees

As an independent school, The Lamplighter School is governed by a Board of Trustees whose members serve the School on a voluntary basis. Trustees are custodians of the integrity of Lamplighter and of its standing and reputation built by the founders and those who have labored over the years.

The Board's responsibilities include providing strategic guidance to the School, hiring and evaluating the Head of School, and ensuring that the School's resources are adequate and properly managed so Lamplighter can fulfill its mission.
