Explore how the Peak Playground expands opportunities for movement and exploration.
Physical Education
The Lamplighter Physical Education program develops students’ motor skills and hand-eye coordination while encouraging teamwork and good sportsmanship.
Through games and activities, students build strength, flexibility, and endurance in engaging and age-appropriate ways. Physical activity and play also help students formulate strategies, solve problems collaboratively, recognize patterns, and develop healthy habits that support lifelong fitness.
Our sports and fitness facilities include a large gym for Lower School (Grades 1 - 4), a motor gym for Early Childhood (Pre-K, Kindergarten, and T1), a soccer field, and a sport court.
In addition to weekly P.E. classes, students enjoy outdoor play every day during morning and afternoon recess, running under the trees, climbing hills, riding tricycles, swinging, digging in the sandbox, and playing games such as tag, soccer, and basketball. The newly constructed Peak Playground further expands opportunities for movement, exploration, and imaginative play.
