Why Pre-K - 4th Grade?
At Lamplighter, students in Pre-K through fourth grade are encouraged to discover joy and confidence in learning during the years that matter most.
Early childhood and elementary school are foundational stages of development, when children build academic skills, develop a sense of self, and learn how to relate to others and the world around them. Our program and environment intentionally nurture children through these formative years, creating a strong foundation for future success. Students feel safe taking risks, exploring new interests, and challenging themselves in a supportive community.
See how our Pre-K through fourth grade model benefits students and prepares them for lifelong learning:

Kids Can Be Kids
Without middle or high school students on campus, children enjoy age-appropriate experiences that preserve the joy and wonder of childhood, allowing them to grow and explore at a natural pace.

I’m so grateful for my son's time at Lamplighter. He was allowed to have a childhood there, where he could learn all the interpersonal skills that are so critical, where his imagination and creativity were valued each day, where he was challenged in an age-appropriate way, at his own pace. Lamplighter was a true gift to our whole family.
