At Lamplighter, students in Pre-K through fourth grade are encouraged to discover joy and confidence in learning during the years that matter most.
Early childhood and elementary school are foundational stages of development, when children build academic skills, develop a sense of self, and learn how to relate to others and the world around them. Our program and environment intentionally nurture children through these formative years, creating a strong foundation for future success. Students feel safe taking risks, exploring new interests, and challenging themselves in a supportive community.

Kids Can Be Kids
Without middle or high school students on campus, children enjoy age-appropriate experiences that preserve the joy and wonder of childhood, allowing them to grow and explore at a natural pace.
Resources
Facilities and learning spaces are intentionally designed for young learners, supporting imagination, movement, collaboration, and hands-on learning for children ages 3–10.
Leadership
Fourth grade “Seniors” enjoy meaningful leadership opportunities and serve as role models for younger students through special traditions and programs unique to their final year.
Faculty
Expert faculty, many with advanced degrees in early childhood and elementary education, guide students’ academic and social-emotional growth. By fourth grade, students are confident, capable learners prepared to transition successfully to middle school.
