Parent Education
An important part of the philosophy of the Lamplighter School is lifelong learning. The mission of the School is to instill in its students the joy of learning for its own sake. This philosophy extends to the School’s faculty, who enjoy a wide variety of educational opportunities, as well as to the parents of the wider community.
Parent Perks
Parent Perks is a popular parent education series featuring educators, psychologists, and writers who speak to the Lamplighter community several times during the school year. Topics reflect the mission of our school and important trends in education. These expert talks and question-and-answer sessions afterwards provide parents with guidance, the latest research, and practical solutions to their toughest questions. It is our hope that these discussions will assist both the school and parents in our most important role: igniting young minds.
