Lamplighter alum Timothy Simenc, the first Dallas native to make the youth national USA Men's Water Polo Team, is only the second Texan in history to earn a spot. The 2007 graduate, now a senior at St. Mark's School of Texas, is one of the 13 players on the team. Simenc won a gold medal at the Pan-American games this summer, participated in the FINA Youth Worlds in Istanbul, Turkey, and competed in the 6 Nations Tournament in Acireale, Sicily. He spent 52 days with his team, including nearly a month in Europe; the longest a youth team has ever stayed together in the history of USA Water Polo. Congratulations Timothy!
