Dallas Arboretum

Lamplighter formed a partnership with the Rory Meyer’s Children’s Adventure Garden at the Dallas Arboretum in 2013. As part of this partnership, Lamplighter students visit the Dallas Arboretum for field trips, including a special Earth Day celebration during April. The Lamplighter faculty and staff have regular access to the Dallas Arboretum to help develop science-based curriculum for our students.  In addition, the Dallas Arboretum provides educators to teach after school enrichment classes as well as summer camp sessions on site at Lamplighter.
