1. How much is the application fee?

The application fee is $75.00 for all grades.

2. Is financial aid available?

Financial aid is available to families who demonstrate financial need.  Our admission process is need-blind and financial aid is determined at the time the student is accepted to the school.

3. How many spaces are available?

Availability is always subject to change, but the average acceptance numbers for our programs are as follows: 3-year old (62), 4-year old (25), Kindergarten (6), First Grade (8), and Second, Third, and Fourth Grades are subject to availability.

5. What is the schedule of a typical Lamplighter day?

6. What age must my child be to attend Lamplighter? How can I get on the waiting list?

Children applying to Lamplighter must be at least 3 years of age and potty-trained before September 1, 2021.  Students are only placed on a waiting list once they have completed the application process.

7. Where do Lamplighter graduates attend middle school?

Our graduates receive a number of offers from various schools in the Dallas area. Visit our Lamplighter graduates page for details.

8. Once accepted, must my child reapply every year for admission?

No. Once your child is accepted and enrolled, he/she does not need to reapply annually.

9. When will decision letters be mailed?

All decision letters will be mailed on Friday, March 12, 2021.
