The application fee is $150.00 for all grades.
Financial aid is available to families who demonstrate financial need. Our admission process is need-blind and financial aid is determined at the time the student is accepted to the school.
Availability is always subject to change, but the average acceptance numbers for our programs are as follows: 3-year old (62), 4-year old (25), Kindergarten (6), First Grade (8), and Second, Third, and Fourth Grades are subject to availability.
All applicants are required to complete the admission process. If all factors considered are equal, preferential admission consideration is given to applicants of current siblings and graduates, as well as children of Lamplighter alumni.
Children applying to Lamplighter must be at least 3 years of age and potty-trained before September 1, 2019. Students are only placed on a waiting list once they have completed the application process.
No, but you are welcome to attend both. The Admission Coffees are open to parents. All family members are invited to the Admission Preview.

Due to our open classroom environment, we do not invite children to come to the school prior to their playdate visit. The Office of Admission and Placement does recommend that you talk to your child about the visit in advance to help prepare him/her for the experience.
