Extended Day
Lamplighter offers several programs beyond the traditional school day hours that support family schedules and offer enrichment opportunities for students. All programs take place on our campus.

Before School Care
7:00 - 7:55 a.m. (Drop off by 7:30 a.m.)
The program is for parents who need to start their days a little earlier. Students may arrive between 7:00 - 7:30 a.m. and are supervised by Lamplighter faculty. During this time, students play games, read, participate in arts & crafts, or play with friends. At 7:55 a.m., students are escorted to their classrooms.
All Lamplighter students, except those in the Pre-K PM program, are eligible to participate in Before School Care. There is no fee for this service, but registration is required.

NightLight Classes
3:45 - 4:45 p.m.
NightLight is Lamplighter's after-school enrichment program for Pre-K through fourth grade students. Each class takes place once a week and runs for an entire semester. Themes include dance, yoga, sports, music, STEM, world languages, chess, art, and more. Classes are taught by Lamplighter faculty or outside experts.
Registration for Fall NightLight classes takes place in early-mid August. Registration for Spring NightLight classes takes place in late November - early December.

After School Care
3:45 - 6:00 p.m.
Lamplighter's after school care is run by the Y (YMCA) on our campus. The Y staff offers a variety of supervised activities including games, sports, arts & crafts, and homework help. Families may purchase a punch card if they would like to use the Y for occasional drop-ins, or they may register their child for the full semester. Registration is managed through the Y.
All Lamplighter students, except those in the Pre-K AM program, are eligible to participate in After School Care.
