Adventures in stem using LEGO materials
Let your imagination run wild with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer-designed projects and use special pieces to create your own unique designs! Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that both new and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system.

In this dynamic art class, school students will embark on a creative journey through a variety of art mediums, discovering the unique possibilities each one offers. From vibrant paints to tactile sculptures, students will have the opportunity to experiment, create, and express themselves in new and exciting ways.
basketball academy
Do you want to step up your game? Join Coach Gerald on the court! Learn the proper way to dribble, pass, and shoot through various drills while applying footwork techniques that are sure to improve your game. Strengthening character and teamwork skills will be emphasized. All abilities are welcome.

Coach Gerald will introduce the game of basketball through various fun drills so that even the youngest players can establish a strong foundation in the sport. Participants will learn how to dribble, pass, and shoot while learning the rules and regulations of the game. Footwork techniques will be introduced as participants build character. No prior experience necessary!
bollywood beats: the world of singing
Discover the enchanting world of Indian music with our exciting after-school program. Your child will embark on a musical adventure, exploring the vibrant melodies and rhythms through contemporary Bollywood and popular songs, along with a brief introduction to Indian rhythms and raga based melodies. Through engaging activities and fun singing sessions, they'll learn to express themselves through music while experiencing the magic of Indian culture. Join us as we journey through the captivating world of Indian melodies and rhythms and ignite your child's passion for singing and cultural exploration.

Chess is an incredible journey of learning that enriches both social and academic endeavors. Engage in exciting exercises, challenging puzzles, and friendly competitions, while honing your analytical thinking. classical ballet
This class lays a foundation for those students who are ready to learn the principles and beginning technique of ballet and music theatre. The class will introduce basic beginning ballet steps in center time and across the floor. Basic stretches and terminology are also introduced. All of this is presented through a fun and imaginative teaching style along with engaging music so that the students can learn in a creative but disciplined setting. Introduction of the barre as well as simple choreography is also taught to introduce the students to the next level and prepare them for a musical dance performance.
cooking around the world
Does your child have a passion for cooking? Are they ready to experience new foods and expand their little palettes? Our students will be engaged while discovering how to prepare delicious international and American dishes safely and skillfully. Our mini chefs will enjoy exploring diverse recipes from Africa, Asia, Europe, and North and South America, while learning food prep tips and tricks they can use throughout their life. During our sessions, your child will play kids' games from other countries, learn food terms from around the world, and receive simple recipes they can use at home. This course is tailored for younger students and focuses on microwave cooking. Recipes include Italian Lasagna, Ghanaian Fufu Dumplings, Japanese Rice Balls (Onigiri), Mexican Quesadilla and Salsa, American Mug Cake, Chinese Chaofan, and French Fondue.

See your child take the big stage! In this class, students explore what it takes to be a Broadway star. By the end of our time together, your child will have grown in knowledge and confidence, which will be showcased in a fabulous final performance! Sing your favorite songs, from Disney to Broadway. Play your favorite characters & create fun scenes in a group. Learn basic choreography that Broadway stars use onstage. This class is for all regardless of experience! All that is required is a love for music and a willingness to try new fun things!
First tee golf
Calling all future golf pros! Get ready to tee off with the First Tee Golf program. Are you looking for a fun and innovative way for your child to learn the basics of golf? Our program, developed by The First Tee Golf Association and backed by top professionals in the industry, is designed specifically for young children. With oversized club faces, color-coded grips, and target-oriented training tools, your child will be on their way to mastering the four basic shots of golf in no time! Not only will your child develop and improve golf skills, but our curriculum is designed to instill important life-enhancing values as well. They‘ll learn about respect, honesty, and perseverance all while having a blast on the green. All equipment is provided.
Friday Fitness Fun
TGIF!! Burn some energy and get ready for the weekend with unique and exciting acts of fitness! This class experience boasts a party atmosphere while learning new things in and outdoors. Themed dance parties, hula hoop contests, limbo obstacle courses, musical squares, scooter relays, active adventure hikes, field day activities, learn to jump rope, ninja courses and more!

Students will create animations and fun games using the Scratch editor. Students will learn key computer programming concepts with project-based learning.
green thumb farmers
Discover the living and non-living wonders of gardens: seeds, pollinators, plants, rocks, water and more. Students will investigate living and non-living things while they learn to plant seeds and care for growing plants.
guitar class
Immerse your child in the wonderful world of music with our Guitar Class tailored for kids aged 6-10. In this engaging afterschool program, children will learn fundamental guitar techniques such as chords, strumming patterns, and fingerpicking. They'll explore the joy of playing popular melodies and simple tunes while gaining a solid understanding of music theory including rhythm, notes, and scales. Our experienced instructors foster a supportive environment where creativity flourishes, allowing each child to develop their musical skills at their own pace. Whether your child is a beginner or has some experience, they'll build confidence and musical ability with every session. This class offers a high-energy dance form that uses the latest age appropriate Hip Hop and Pop music coupled with dance steps influenced by some of today's finest dance choreographers. A style that is incessantly changing, Hip Hop incorporates poppin’, lockin', and body isolations. Students will learn the trendy Hip Hop style of today as well as old school. The class always emphasizes dancers finding their own individual swagger and style. Hip Hop is a fun, high-energy way to express oneself in a big way!

Hola Amigo! Join us in a fun, interactive, and enriching environment to learn and become confident Spanish speakers. Every class begins with our mascot, Paulina Parrot, who greets the kids and reveals the emphasis of the day. Our class emphasis changes weekly and incorporates age-appropriate songs, dance, crafts, games, and conversation to ensure every child remains engaged throughout the lesson. Each class will provide a review of the previous lessons to ensure the children retain their knowledge and continue to build confidence and vocabulary.

Kidokinetics Rollerblading, sponsored by Skate in School, creates a fun and healthy environment for young children. Rollerblading boosts youth fitness and teaches a lifelong physical activity. Your child will develop cardiovascular endurance, balance, and coordination while having fun and building confidence. Perfect for entry level girls and boys! All equipment including skates, knee/elbow guards, and safety helmets are required and are to be provided by enrollee to participate.

Explore the journey of our food from the farm to our plates. Learn about basic needs of plants and insects while tracing the origins of our food, how food is processed (or not). Students will learn to prepare a variety of fruits and vegetables using basic recipes.
mandarin
Students will develop fundamental oral/aural skills through activities, including games, songs and crafts. The course will cover basic vocabulary and sentence structure. It will also expose children to some cultural aspects: food, art, traditional holiday celebrations, and more!
money math
This innovative foundation on financial literacy also serves as a practical math lab where students learn and reinforce computational skills, while developing a mindset for healthy financial habits. From playing money math games to learning about budgeting through engaging activities, students have fun while they enhance their “real life” math skills!
music and movement
Children love engaging with music and movement in early childhood education. It helps them express their feelings and emotions, learn to work in groups, and develop their self-confidence and imagination. This class will help strengthen both fine and gross motor skills while developing self-expression. Students will communicate feelings, ideas, and thoughts through music, movement, or playing an instrument. Students will also work on social skills like cooperation, taking turns, and sharing the music experience of learning how to dance, and play instruments with others.

nasa - Academy of future space explorers
NASA-blast-off on knowledge of flight! This class is an exciting study on rockets. Future space explorers will build their own rockets and planes, experiment with propulsion systems, launch and recover rockets! Each day, young explorers create amazing things to take home.

Mrs. McVeigh's Manners has been teaching children soft skills for over 20 years, in a fun and interactive way. Students really retain the information from our original lessons and materials. The Scratch Jr. app allows younger students to explore computational thinking and logic through block-based programming. Students will learn how to create their own interactive animations and games using computer science concepts.

This program focus on skill development followed by games and fun with the soccer ball. The goal is to develop a passion while learning soccer skills and fostering a love for the game, teamwork, and improvement.

Social Circles is an enriching and fulfilling class for children where the focus is on strengthening social skills, such as building meaningful friendships, managing emotions, turn-taking, improving conversational skills, problem-solving, understanding social cues and more. Your child will have the opportunity to gain lifelong skills through activities, including role-playing, cooperative game play, crafts, discussions, and social stories with their peers. The goal is to help your child feel confident in social situations and build strong connections with friends!

Enjoy story-time classics and exciting new books while exploring fun science projects related to each story. Students will love learning engineering principles with Rosie Revere Engineer, seeing how a real Hungry Caterpillar goes through its life cycle, saying Goodnight Moon as we learn about lunar cycles, and more!

Your young athlete will build those muscles and increase their endurance in an exciting way! This class experience includes fun equipment and unique games to strengthen our bodies and our minds! Games, circuits, obstacle courses and more! Lots of sweaty smiles!

This class experience will help your athlete thrive on the field and on the court! Exciting strength challenges and goal setting action! Speed drills and footwork increase agility and teamwork games will focus on sportsmanship. Circuit training, ball skills, timed obstacle relays, and more! Let's GO Lamplighter!!
superhero you-niversity
We learn just how amazing our bodies can be while on missions of bravery and kindness as your favorite Superhero!! This creative and active experience is full of fun challenges and will instill confidence and boost self-esteem. Superheroes UNITE!!!
super sports sampler
Kidokinetics Super Sports Sampler programs are designed to provide a fun, healthy semester of exercise, games, nutrition, and sports activities. Each class introduces a new sport or sport activity teaching the skills and drills associated with the sport. Sports activities include Golf, Tennis, Basketball, Baseball/T-ball, Football, Hockey, Obstacle Course, Hula Hoops, Jump Rope, PE games, Jai Lai (scoop ball), Throw & Catch, Relays and Parachute activities. This program is a fun, first introduction to sports for children of all abilities!

In Theater G.A.M.E.S. (Group Activities Making Everyone Shine), students will get to move, act, explore, laugh, create, and get the "sillies" out while sharpening their drama skills. Games and activities are geared towards teamwork, physical and vocal expression, and above all else, FUN!

Welcome our Tiny Traveling Chefs! In this program, we will go on a bite-size journey around the world. We will create finger foods like Vietnamese salad rolls, shakshuka cups from Tunisia, mini halwa bowls from India, and many more! Fitness, Flexibility, & Fun! This class will focus on beginner tumbling skills, such as balance, flexibility, rolls, backbends, handstands, and cartwheels. It is a fun way to develop skills that are beneficial for any sport or physical activity.

who is doctor who?
The world-famous Who Kids continue their operations this Fall with favorite New and Classic episodes of the world’s longest running science fiction television show! We’ll write new content for our Twitter feed (@WhoKidsLL) including episode reviews, fan art, Daleks Telling Jokes, and more! We might have lunchtime Zoom chats with the people who make our favorite show! We might even go on a convention field trip! Please note: if your child has never watched Doctor Who, please reach out to Mr. Peck for suggestions of starter episodes before signing up for the class.
yippe yi yoga
A fun approach to learning yoga through yoga stories, yoga games, making "breathlets" and eye pillows for end of the class Savasana (relaxation) and much more. They will learn breathing techniques to calm themselves. The goal is to make learning yoga playful for this age to encourage continued desire to pursue these life long skills for the benefit of the body, mind and spirit.
